I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

On April 30th, I had the pleasure of meeting a country singer named Jason Michael Carroll. I was at the Kat Country Radio Station because I had qualified to win a trip to Disney World and you had to be present to win. Jason was also going to be there for a small acoustic show to promote his new CD “Growing up is getting old”. There were about 20 total fans there who were all very excited to hear Jason sing and I kinda hung out in the back to let the real fans get close to the stage. Before he came on, I leaned over to ask one of the fans what song he was known for and she named a few, and of course I had no clue.

So Jason comes out and I only knew it was him because he stood in front of the mic in the center of the small stage. The first song he sang was “Growing up is getting old” and of course I still had no clue who he was but was intrigued by his stage presence and his connection with his fans. Then he began to sing “Where I’m From”……at that moment I actually looked over at my husband and said “He sings this song!?!?!??” I had heard this song on the radio and I always thought some old, long bearded guy sang that song and had no idea such a young man sang it!

Since April 30th, I have been attending as many JMC shows as possible and I've made some really great friends!!!! Not only is Jason an awesome country singer, he’s great with his fans and I’m sure he’ll go very far in country music!!!! I wish him the best of luck and look forward to many more concerts!
